Boston COVID-19 Response part 2
In March of 2020, COVID-19 began to take hold in Boston. As a city, we needed to respond quickly and efficiently to reach residents with vital information across multiple platforms as well as in person and at residences. With an unprecedented push, thousands of pieces of PSA collateral were posted on signs in the city and on social media accounts, as well as sent to residents in multiple languages.
We worked to make sure the graphics we made were creative and relevant to our city and the people within it, which helped skyrocket engagement, generating more sharing and more people who saw the information we were putting out.
We also created nearly 100 informative and unifying videos, to keep our residents both educated with the newest information and hopeful. We worked to make videos that inspired hope and promise, such as our We're Still Here video, which went viral and garnered over a 1.2 million views on Twitter alone. These emergency graphics and videos were key in keeping our residents safe and helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
